Report of the Reporting Workgroup

Objectives for the session:
At the October meeting, the AQA approved "Principles in the Use of Registries for Enhancing Quality of Care through Performance Measurement." As the Performance Measurement Workgroup developed these principles, it also drafted six registry principles which relate to public reporting. The Performance Measurement Workgroup recommended that the Reporting Workgroup review and if appropriate, recommend these principles for AQA adoption. If adopted, these six principles will be incorporated into the registry principles document approved in October 2006.
